About me
I was born in 1987 in a small town near Barcelona, Spain. My journey in sports began at a very young age. I started playing tennis when I was just three years old at a small local club near my home. From that first moment, sport ceased to be just an activity and became my identity, my discipline, and my way of understanding life.
At the age of six, I joined high-performance programs, competing on the Spanish national junior circuit and in regional competitions. During those formative years, I trained alongside players who would later become Top 20 ATP ranked professionals, which allowed me to experience from a very young age the true demands of elite sport: effort, sacrifice, pressure, consistency, and resilience.
At seventeen, I made a difficult but strategic decision: to step away from my competitive sports career to focus entirely on my professional studies in Barcelona, specializing in the high-end tourism and hospitality sector. This period was pivotal in my personal and professional development, providing me with a deep understanding of excellence in service, organization, management, discipline, human values, and attention to detail—principles I now apply to how I teach, lead, and structure sports programs.
After this period, I returned fully to the world of sports, dedicating myself professionally to tennis at several high-level clubs in Spain. I held positions such as Director of Youth Development and later Director of Competitive Programs, training players from beginner levels to high performance. One of the most significant chapters of my career was at Club Tennis La Salut (Barcelona), a historic club renowned for producing outstanding professional tennis players.
After that stage, I took another important step in my professional development and founded and managed my own tennis and padel academies in Spain, creating structured programs for both beginners and high-performance athletes. This experience allowed me to solidify my vision as a coach and sports manager, develop my own methodology, and assume full responsibility for the sporting, human, and organizational development of each project.
For over ten years in Spain, I was also deeply involved in managing school sports programs, coordinating activities for primary, secondary, and high schools. I managed programs for up to 87 schools, in addition to directing Easter, Christmas, and summer sports camps, developing intensive and well-structured programs. Professionally, everything I had built was solid, organized, and constantly growing.
At the same time, I was fully committed to continuing education and professional excellence, obtaining top-level international certifications. I specialized in developing Top Ten junior players in Spain, designing high-performance programs and traveling extensively with my players to national and international tournaments, experiencing elite tennis firsthand.
The Pandemic: The Breaking Point and a New Beginning
And then the pandemic arrived.
What had been a stable, structured, and expanding professional career came to a sudden and complete halt. In a matter of days, all of my professional activities in Spain were suspended. Programs, academies, schools, competitions, and camps were forced to stop indefinitely. Everything I had built over years with effort, sacrifice, and dedication came to a standstill overnight.
The uncertainty was absolute. There were no answers, no immediate solutions, and no room to maneuver. It wasn't just a professional pause; it had a profound personal impact. At that moment, I lost everything: structure, stability, projects, and security. It was a hard, real, and human blow. But it was also a moment of reflection that forced me to look inward and honestly ask myself what I truly wanted to do with my life and my career from that point forward.
In 2020, in the midst of that global and personal crisis, I made the most important decision of my life: to move to the United States and start over from scratch. I arrived with no structure, no guarantees, and no safety net. I literally started from zero.
Step by step, through daily work, consistency, and discipline, I began to rebuild my professional path from the ground up: returning to the court, the gym, and direct, one-on-one coaching. I chose to leave behind large business projects and corporate structures to focus exclusively on what I truly love: sports education, tennis, racquet sports, physical development, fitness, and nutrition.
Today I understand that the pandemic was the biggest turning point in my professional life, but also the origin of my most authentic stage, fully aligned with my values, my vocation and my way of understanding training and education.
My Vocation, Values and Understanding of Sport Today
My true passion is teaching tennis and racquet sports, along with fitness, physical conditioning, and nutrition. These are the fundamental pillars of my work, and everything I do is built upon them.
My goal goes far beyond athletic performance. I am dedicated to educating and guiding athletes in developing healthy lifestyles, creating safe, structured, and positive environments where respect, discipline, and strong human values form the foundation for growth.
I cannot conceive of sport without discipline, high standards, punctuality, and absolute respect. These values have been a part of my life since childhood, and I pass them on directly to every athlete I work with.
Sport is a constant battle against oneself: nothing comes without effort, nothing is built without sacrifice, and nothing lasts without discipline.

Personal life
My personal journey has been marked by profound experiences that have shaped who I am today. I have a son in Spain, whom I love and adore deeply. He is the product of a complex chapter in my life, marked by difficult decisions and challenges that spurred tremendous personal growth. He is a part of my heart and my identity as a father, and he will always hold a fundamental place in my life.
It was here in the United States that life gave me one of its greatest gifts: meeting the woman of my life, a woman I love, adore, and respect with all my heart. She is extraordinary, with strong values, sensitivity, and strength, and sharing my life with her is a privilege for which I am deeply grateful.
Together we await the arrival of our twin children. They mean everything to me: my greatest joy, my daily motivation, and the future I dream of building. Thinking of them fills me with peace, a sense of responsibility, and an immense desire to be a better person, a better father, and a better role model every day.
With them, I feel I have a full life ahead of me, filled with meaning, balance, and love—a future I want to share forever, building a family based on affection, respect, strong values, and emotional stability. This stage of my life is, without a doubt, the most authentic, conscious, and fulfilling I have ever experienced.
Sport saved me.
Teaching defines me.
And helping others grow —physically, personally, and mentally— is what gives true meaning to my life.
